This Cookie Policy explains how LDM Animation LLC uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and in our online shop. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work and can also be used to measure traffic and support advertising.
| Type | Purpose | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Make the site work — for example remembering that you dismissed the regional banner. | Always on |
| Shop & checkout | Set by Shopify, which runs our shop and checkout. They remember what is in your basket, keep you signed in through checkout, and protect against fraudulent orders. | Always on — strictly necessary |
| Analytics | Help us understand how visitors use the site (for example Google Analytics 4), so we can improve it. | On with your consent |
| Advertising | Measure and improve our ad campaigns (for example the Meta Pixel) and may be set by third parties. | On with your consent |
Our shop runs on Shopify, and the checkout is hosted by Shopify on its own domain. Shopify sets cookies that are strictly necessary for the shop to function: they hold your basket between pages, carry your order through checkout, and support Shopify’s fraud checks.
These cannot be switched off through our cookie banner, because without them the basket empties and payment cannot complete. They are set only when you use the shop — browsing the rest of the site does not set them. Shopify’s own use of this data is governed by its privacy policy.
If Shopify’s analytics or marketing features are enabled on our store, those cookies are not strictly necessary and are set only with your consent, in the same way as the analytics and advertising rows above.
Where required, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential (analytics and advertising) cookies, via a banner shown on your first visit. You can accept or reject these, and you can change your choice at any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer.
Rejecting non-essential cookies does not stop you from browsing or buying — the shop keeps working, because the cookies it needs are the strictly necessary ones described above.
You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies from our shop will prevent checkout from working.
Some cookies are set by third-party services we use — our shop platform, our payment provider, and our analytics and advertising providers. Their use of data is governed by their own privacy policies.
We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes. The “last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
